From the Pastor’s Desk
On Monday, July 13 we will get back to some sort of a “normal” schedule. However, as with so many things with the COVID-19 pandemic, not everything will be normal. Here’s what will be happening in the Cathedral Parish.
Weekdays (Monday-Friday)
Mass at 7:00 a.m. in the Cathedral; the church will be locked after Mass for cleaning then will be open from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Also, the Rectory Office will be open from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. (Office closes at 2:00 p.m. on Fridays.)
Saturdays
Mass at 7:00 a.m. followed by confessions; church locked after confessions for cleaning. Cathedral re-opens at 12:00 noon to the public (unless a wedding is scheduled). Confessions from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. with the Vigil Mass at 5:00 p.m.
Sunday
Masses as usual with church locked after each Mass to permit cleaning by staff. Cathedral will remain closed during afternoon hours, re-opening at 4:00 p.m. for the 5:00 p.m. Mass.
At St. Benedict the Moor, Mass is at 8:00 a.m. and the church is locked about 15 minutes after Mass ends.
