Cathedral Basilica of St. Augustine Behind the Scenes Tours
If you have ever wondered what is behind the scenes at the Cathedral Basilica of St. Augustine, the symbolism and history of America’ Oldest Parish, now is your chance to take, “A Walk Through History.”
Take a guided tour of the public and not so public locations within the church. Tour stops include the choir loft, sacristy, confessional, baptistery, chapel and more.
You will see copies of 16th century documents, (the oldest documents in the New World), learn the stories behind the stained-glass windows, the Stations of the Cross, the bishop’s coat of arms in the rafters, the murals, the three burials within the church and more.
Tours will be on Monday – Thursday at 11:00 am
First Sunday of the Month at 1:00 pm
(approx. 1 hour)

Adults $12.00 and Children 6-12 years $10.00 Under 6 are free
(Space is limited to 20 people)
***access to the choir loft is currently under construction and tours will not include the choir loft until construction is completed***
