From the Pastor’s Desk
For children in the Catholic Schools of the Diocese of St. Augustine, a new year begins this Wednesday. Schools in the St. Johns County School District are scheduled to begin on Monday, August 31.
Please join me in praying for them as well as their teachers and school administrators.
God of wisdom and might,
we praise you for the wonder of our being.
Be with our children as they begin a new school year.
Bless them and their teachers
as well as those who are administrators
and support staff.
Give them your strength and grace.
Bless them with wisdom and knowledge
as they search for understanding.
And in these challenging days,
comfort them with your peace.
We ask this through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
