From the Pastor’s Desk

Our parish welcomes our new Parochial Vicar, Father Martin Ibeh (pronounced ē-bay) today. Father Martin is a native of Nigeria. Ordained for service in the Diocese of St. Augustine he comes to us after his ordination to the priesthood on May 12, 2018.

Since being accepted as a seminarian for the Diocese of St. Augustine several years ago, he has called Christ the King Parish in Jacksonville as his “home” parish. He served his diaconate internship at Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish in Palm Coast.

Fr. Martin will be full-time with our parish. Additionally, he will serve as chaplain at Saint Joseph Academy one day per week. We are planning for Thursday to be his day off.

A reception will be held in the Cathedral Rectory on Wednesday, June 13 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. for you to come by and meet Fr. Martin and get to know him a little bit more. Please plan to join us.

Love,

Father Tom
