October 11: Feast Day of Our Lady of La Lecheour-lady-of-le-leche1

Over the past 400 years, our Lady of La Leche has drawn many pilgrims and visitors to the sacred and holy ground known as Mission Nombre de Dios.

Whether they come in devotion, to ask her intercession, in thanksgiving for prayers answered, or to hear her story for the first time, she continues to lead all to the living presence of her Son and our savior, Jesus Christ through the sacraments celebrated daily.

Join us on this special day, a feast day granted to our diocese by the Vatican. Let us honor her and the many blessings her graces bring.

The schedule for Feast Day Celebrations at the Shrine of Our Lady of La Leche, St. Augustine, is as follows:

10 a.m., “Our Lady of La Leche: Mother of America over the Centuries” with Dr. Mary Soha;

11 a.m., Rosary; 3-6 p.m., Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament and Reconciliation;

6 p.m., Mass with Father Ivan Carrillo-Paris;

7:15 p.m., concert in honor of Our Lady with “Voices of Saint Augustine.”

Open to the community. Questions, call (904) 824-2809
