Cathedral Basilica of St. Augustine Behind the Scenes Tours
If you have ever wondered what is behind the scenes at the Cathedral Basilica of St. Augustine, the symbolism and history of America’ Oldest Parish, now is your chance to take, “A Walk Through History.”
Take a guided tour of the public and not so public locations within the church. Tour stops include the choir loft, sacristy, confessional, baptistery, chapel and more.
You will learn the stories behind the stained-glass windows, the Stations of the Cross, the bishop’s coat of arms in the rafters, the murals, the three burials within the church and a trip with stunning views from the choir loft.
Tours are Monday – Friday at 1:00 pm
(approx. 1 hour)
18.00 and Children 6-12 years $12.00 Under 6 are free
