From the Pastor’s Desk

This is the week of our Parish Mission. Dominican Fathers Bill Garrott and Gabriel Gillen will be with us for the Mission which officially begins Monday and continues through Wednesday. Each day of the Mission there will be a Mission Mass at 8:30 a.m. followed by a presentation by Father Gabriel and confessions. Then, in the evening, at 6:40 the Rosary will be prayed followed by a presentation by Father Bill along with confessions.

With Lent beginning on February 14, the Parish Mission is an excellent way to get in the spirit of what the season of Lent will call all of us to – conversion to living the Gospel, celebrating the Mercy of God, and being a better disciple of Jesus. Remember, the morning and the evening sessions will be on different topics. So, if you can make both sessions, great. If you can only make the morning or the evening, that’s great, too! The Mission is an opportunity for Divine Grace to flood our parish and each of our hearts. So, I hope you will take advantage of this time God has given us.

Love,

Father Tom

[Please Note: The 7:00 a.m. Mass will also be celebrated as usual in the Cathedral during the days of the Mission.]
