Sacrament of Penance during Advent Regularly going to confession in the Sacrament of Penance is an important part of living the Catholic life. As the Church prepares to celebrate the Nativity of Christ, sacramental confession is key to preparing our hearts for the spiritual re-birth of Christ in the great feast of Christmas. Our parish’s Advent Penance Service will be on Monday, December 21 at 7:00 p.m. Bishop Estévez and several priests will be available to hear your confession and grant you absolution.
